    eVigilant, a Converged Security Solutions Company, is seeking a VP, Managed Security Services to join our team.  You will work in the Coporate offices in Reston, VA.

    Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

    The successful candidate will be expected to possess knowledge and vision in the following areas:

    Strategy

    • Build vision, strategy, and roadmap for the portfolio of services with an end goal of creating a scalable and sustainable business line for remote cyber security, surveillance, and access control

    Product Roadmap, & Lifecycle Management

    • Define, develop and lead the lifecycle of CSS’s managed security services products from concept to launch to end of life
    • Partner with the sales, finance and customer service to understand the requirements of the target customers and act as the voice of the customer internally.
    • Develop and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and opportunities within managed security services and performance of the group
    • Involve others to create a shared vision and clear goals for the products, including a well-defined product roadmap

    Sales

    • Set and approve pricing and discounts to meet revenue and margin objectives
    • Evangelize the Product portfolio both inside and outside the company.
    • Support, manage, and grow the outbound sales organization
    • Develop a proactive reseller program
    • Review market research to identify new opportunities

    Market, Competitive and Customer Analysis

    • Conduct market demand analysis to help guide strategic direction related to new product features and use-cases
    • Develop product use-cases and the requisite value propositions and messaging

    Product Performance & Business Case Development

    • Define and implement metrics that will be used to inform product success and help drive user experience improvements
    • Define and implement metrics to demonstrate business growth and profitability

    Cross Functional Collaboration

    • Able to build strong working relationships with other CSS groups working in security

    Support

    • Support problem escalation as required
    • Design product training curriculum; lead cross-functional trainings and meetings

    Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

    Qualifications

    • 7-10+ years with Business or Technology focus; at least 5 years in managed security services product management, product marketing, or product development positions
    • Strong product management skills covering an entire lifecycle
    • Strong technical acumen
    • Strong analytical, problem solving, and planning skills
    • Validated ability to analyze complex business issues and identify, design, plan and implement effective practical recommendations
    • Confirmed project management skills
    • Deep customer-facing and market-facing experience
    • Sets high personal standards and is goal oriented
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Effective communications skills, both verbal and written
    • Culturally aware and adept at working across multiple geographies
    • Able to operate in a performance driven organization
